Haunting illustration! Batman being so calm is eerie! It's like the illustration lines are tree roots that have captured and held him still while the fear toxin is working to paralize him.

The details on this one are fantastic - I bet he used a whole pack of pencils to complete this masterpiece. Nice.

Wow. Incredibly elaborate DPS that looks more like a steel engraving than a comic book splash. Gorgeous art by Riccardo Federici using incredibly intricate crosshatching like something you'd see on one of Wrightson's Frankenstein illustrations. Lots of spooky images of hooded beings and creepy bat-like creatues. The overall effect seems to tone down the kind of frantic action we're used to seeing in a Batman comic. It's beautiful though. Fascinating find, congrats!
