DescriptionHad a great time meeting Ryan Browne at Phoenix Fan Fusion this year. He was doing some simple remarks, mainly of his 8 Billion Genies genie, but I asked if he would be up for something different. I told him I was a fan of Star Wars, and if he had any favorites. He started naming off characters, including Max Rebo, to which I replied "oh, so the weird ones". My friend mentioned an Ewok, and we all agreed. The meant to be probably less than 2 minute remark then turned into 30 minutes of us all standing around laughing and chatting as Ryan drew this masterpiece. He just kept going, and even writer Charles Soule jumped in and added some pencil work to the ears (and signed it too, since he helped). This was a great time all around, and definitely made for a highlight of the first day of the show.Also, the Yoda on the side was added because that was my initial recommendation, but since Arthur Adams was supposed to do one for me, Ryan did not want to compete. Plenty of laughs were had and I'm very thankful to Ryan for the fun end to the night! Social/Sharing |
