Description"The name's Gambit, mon ami. Remember it."No spoilers, but if you watched X-Men 97, then you know! I loved the series. It's been one of the best shows I've seen on television this year, along with the massive nostalgic hit. I was happy to grab a piece of official art from Tim. It's a massive vDPS on two 11 x 17 boards. Tim's work was used on various official X-Men '97 merchandise. He did his art traditionally; the other artist Marvel used, Amelia Vidal, produced digitally. Stunning Gambit illustration by Tim Levins! I have a soft spot in my heart for spot illustrations that get used everywhere from posters to T-shirts to banners to video games. They are always drawings that capture something iconic about the character. And they have to do it in just a few strokes of the pen, they can't be too detailed, so they tend to be drawn simply. This Gambit does all that. It's simple, yet it captures Gambit's flair for the dramatic, his devil-may-care attitiude and his uncanny card-throwing skill. And how cool that the art is drawn so big--It makes for a more dramatic impression when framed. Fabulous pick-up, congrats!
