Description

I like this page because a) it has a couple of nice images of Vampirella, b) it includes all of the main characters, and c) it advances the storyline (as opposed to just exposition). It also includes a bit of misdirection, since it turns out the shiny object in Devlin's hand is actually a cross and the villain of the story is really the priest. I think this is one of the better stories from the original Vampirella magazine run. And, of course, the ink and wash artwork by Jose Gonzalez is a plus. (BTW, the page is white - I just took a poor photo of it.)

Beautiful page. Gonzales mixes rich linework and wash that established the standard for how the Vampirella interiors should look!
