Description

The Blackhawks are making a plan of attack on this cover that was actually based on an illustration from an Army Air Corps ad in LIFE magazine from 10-25-1943. The striking Blackhawk cover is quite a treasure as original art for Reed Crandall/Blackhawk covers of the era are rare indeed.
