Description

Here is something I’m pretty happy with so I figure I’ll share. Wolverine Netsuke was a beautiful and very unique Wolverine mini series from the early 2000s . Not only was it different from the usual spandex Wolverine fair.. it was beautifully written and painted by George Pratt. And his process for the book was fairly unique as he painted each panel as an individual painting and then they were put together to form a page of the book from there. Last year a good friend of mine sold me beautiful close up of Logan while committing Seppuku .. a pivotal and emotional moment from the story. I joked with him at the moment I got it that I wanted to put the page back together . Fast forward to January and I saw George Pratt at OAX and amazingly he still had two of the panels! Now three of four in hand.. and I was close but he had sold the forth long ago and had no idea where: I figured this would be a needle in a haystack. Fast forward to this month , when posted my quest on a George Pratt Facebook group and lo and behold a former student of his had it and loved that I wanted to reunite them! So it’s here!! Now to be framed and put with the others

Congrats on rebuilding this pivotal page, that's pretty great that it was all able to be reunited after so many years.
