Description

While traveling from Earth, the crew of the Starshadow discovers that their galleon has taken on stowaways, specifically a host of rats, which issues from ship's hold due to the terrors of the journey. This makes sense; rats were a constant companion during the Age of Sail. If the rats look large now, just wait to see what happens on subsequent pages.

This pushes harder into the fantasy aspects with the incredible image of sailing into the vortex like a tall boat defiantly pushing into the storm. We can see and feel it following in the wake of the power.
