DescriptionRudy Nebres Eerie #129 Story Page 1 Original Art (Warren Publ., 1983). This splendid Nebres composition comes from a Swamp Thing-like exercise called "Ode to a Dead-Thing!" -- dealing with a river suicide, transformed by industrial pollution. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Lettering (typeset) appears on a transparent overlay. The art has an image area of 11 x 16", and aside from some glue staining it is in Very Good condition.Social/Sharing |

Beautiful page! Nebres' imagery is wild with imagination for this montage packing in Swamp Thing and Frankenstein monster ideas into an origin. The inks are deep and heavy to reflect the horror feel of an Eerie tale.
