Great to see this again.  At one point, I had three of the four splashes (including this one) AND the cover to this first issue.  It's funny because I was not at all trying to put the book together, but after I got the first piece (I think it was one of the splashes), the other ones just kept popping up randomly.  It would have been one thing if someone DID have the whole book and was selling it off piece by piece.  But all four of my pieces came from different sources at different times.  I know how hard it is to put an entire issue together when you're actually TRYING.  But that's just it, I wasn't.  LOL!  Collecting can be really, really, fun.  But every once in a while, it can also be very, very, weird.  Anyway, congrats and enjoy.

Which one?!? They ALL pretty fucking ugly, including the clown! Also, every time I see the title of this book, I hear Billy the Kid's voice saying "Violators, mount up!"

Such a great representation of the gross out style Moore and Sears was aiming for.  They knew it had an appeal to horror fans and very ahead of its time as Spawn has since become even more of a horror comic.
