DescriptionHoward Chaykin American Flagg #20 Story Page 20 Original Art (First, 1985). Threatened by the impending election results, Stagolee commands Angel to warn rivals encroaching on his turf on this page from Chaykin's critically acclaimed satirical dystopian sci-fi crime comic. Ink, white paint, and Zipatone over graphite on Duo-Tone board with an image area of 10" x 15". Text bubble and "to be continued.." are hand-lettered paste-ups, page number stat. Light handling wear. Really fun how Chaykin was using the duo tone brush to activate like he was painting those parts in. They were a great relic of those times and still a wonder to behold.
