DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!10.75x15.75" artboard w/pen and ink original art by Joe Staton from same issue as previous lot. Page features four panels, showcasing the heroes of Earth-One and Earth-Two. First panels shows both Earth's Superman and Green Lantern as well as Aquaman and Doctor Fate. Second panel recreates the cover art for Justice League Of America #21, showing the heroes of Earth-Two appearing before the heroes of Earth-One in the classic "Crisis On Earth-One" storyline. Fourth and fifth panels explain how each set of heroes exist separately on parallel Earths w/final panel featuring nice splash image of members of the Justice Society of America - Power Girl, Superman, Hawkman, Huntress, Robin, Hourman, Doctor Fate, Flash (Jay Garrick), Doctor Mid-Nite, Wildcat, Green Lantern (Alan Scott) and Wonder Woman. Caption boxes have been hand-lettered, cut out and applied to artboard w/"Justice Society" logo stat at bottom center. Inked "Adventure" title and pages numbers at top margin. Back has DC copyright inkstamp and three pieces of aged masking tape at bottom. Art is clean and Exc. Social/Sharing |
