DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!Large and impressive 27x40-1/8" artboard (mounted to cardboard) features pastel original art by Mary Wilshire, a comic artist best known for her work on Marvel Comics characters Red Sonja and Firestar. Art depicts Emma Frost as The White Queen, during her early years as an X-Men villain. She is seen w/her Massachusetts Academy students The Hellions, who were instructed to use their mutant gifts as evil counterpoints to the X-Men. This art was published as a poster by Marvel in 1984. Wilshire has signed and dated art at bottom center. Margins shows expected pastel rubs and exhibit some scattered wear.
