DescriptionMarvel and The Electric Company of PBS brought us live action Spider-Man on TV! The education and fun didn’t stop there as Spidey Super Stories series was created. This page is from the bicentennial issue of Spider-Man teaming up with Captain America in 1976! They time travel back to the days of the Revolutionary War to confront Kang who has damaged the lanterns of the guy who signals "One if by Land, Two if by sea" to Paul Revere! Win Mortimer did the pencils. Esposito or Mortellaro did the inks.If only Cap and Spidey could signal him with some fireworks instead... Happy Fourth of July Weekend! I didn't know Kang was a Brit! Ha. I love Spidey Super Stories sand this is one of the coolest pages from the title that I've ever seen, and perfect for this weekend's festivities. Hope you got all your pyro mania in for the year Marcus lol!

I know as collectors, many of us recycle. But this might be the most fun use of art packing materials I've ever seen. Happy FOJ weekend to all, especially those who are lucky enough to have a 4-dayer. Whether it's fireworks, barbecues, new artwork, or just chilling - enjoy yourselves!

I thought the British Invasion was led by the Beatles? I see Paul Revere and the Raiders here, and to be fair, they never beat the Beatles on the charts in the late 60's Battle of the Bands, so Kang must have altered the sacred timeline after all.
