Description

If that title doesn't get a nerd's attention, what will? I suppose it could be anyone from Starfleet with that phaser, not just Captain Kirk. Is that a TOS style phaser, or TNG? And yes, I do know that he's just called "The Doctor," usually.

While Star Trek typically stuck to idealism, many of the best Doctor Who stories had a sci fi horror bend. The Silence were not only mute but also induced amnesia; they can only be thought about while you're looking directly at them.

Woodward painted the amazing Doctor Who/Star Trek: The Next Generation Crossover. For a crowdfunding campaign, he made over a dozen small paintings which were never distributed for some reason. They ended up in subsequent ComicLink auctions, where I acquired several. This is my favorite one, hinting at a battle to come. I love the perspective, just seeing the distinctive devices of our protagonists. Note the hash marks on Kirk's hand; if you know, you know.
