Description11 x 17Immediately became a fan of Daniel Warren Johnson as soon as I saw his art on Extremity. Enough that my first major purchase in the hobby was his complete fan-fic story "Cherno." I had basically just missed the last of the Extremity drops and though there were pages remaining, I managed to hold off. Thankfully, this TPB Cover was recently made available. There was no way I could let this cover that perfectly exemplifies the entire series slip through my grasp. It captures all of the hope as well as conflict of the series so very well. Thanks to Simon for making it happen. As appreciation for DWJ grows, all his work has been getting the oversized treatment, one by one. There was a massively successful kickstarter for an Extremity Artist Edition. An Extremity Deluxe HC is also on tap for Oct 2024. An in a bit of good fortune, this cover is being used as the cover to a variant deluxe edition for the YouTube Channel, Near Mint Condition! Only available through the sponsors of the channel, I'm thrilled that they have the great taste to utilize this image. Really nice man! Great to see how far DWJ has come since his earlier works for sure. I first noticed him when he was doing covers for Firefly/Boom and then went back and checked out Extremity - great stuff

The hype is insane with DWJ, but he is one of the few I feel lives up to it over and over again!

Eisner award winner, nominated 2X this year, and may be perennial nominee in art and/or writing with how his project with Riley Rossmo goes! A testament to the creative force that is DWJ, as Extremity was a major step as part of the climb to the top!
