Full color piece by convention goer and amateur artist Rich Papalia.

"I had a lot of fun drawing this piece. This is not a print, it is an original, hand-drawn illustration. I started out wanting to do a Frank Miller-esque picture of Batman driving the Batmobile, or specifically because of the controls, he's probably driving the Bat Tank. But instead of making the controls modern, I thought it would be fun to make them look retro like they were made in the 1950s. The drawing is rendered with Dr. Ph. Martin's black ink and brush and some detail added with black Micron pens. When it came time to color it, the overall drawing already had so much black and gray so I thought giving Batman his blue cowl from his 1970s comics would give the drawing a color punch. I used alcohol markers for the color. The piece is drawn on 11x17 100 lb. Strathmore bristol."

Very Rich. Very Sharp. The Colors are vibrant and Really Pop. Nice Pick.

Looks so flawless that people will mistake it for a print in having the sharp linework and the consistent coloring.
