DescriptionI do love an X-Men title page, especially one from X-Men proper. As much as the Blue Team, adjectiveless X-Men were all the rage in the early 90's, I cut my teeth on the Gold Team with Uncanny.Cool page with a recognisable Manhattan backdrop and a quintessential X-Men storyline with the Morlocks front and center. Whilst Jean Grey, Bishop and Colossus observe the chaos from above. Early Tom Raney art putting his own spin on some disfigured Morlocks. Rurik Tyler doing the layouts, and Joe Rubinstein on inks adding some cool weather scratch effects. Social/Sharing |

DUDE you're on a roll! This 3-issue arc was my first exposure to Raney's work and I've loved it ever since. Nice pickup!

Thanks! Funny, when you sometimes post a comment right away, I'm thinking, surly, it’s the middle of the night over there. When does James sleep?

Great opening DPS! Raney made sure to add the showmanship to the visual storytelling when pacing this story out!

Man, a LOT packed into this DPS! Gotta love the zoomed out scene followed by some closeup storytelling panels. Super effective stuff and what a way to open the book up! Congrats!

Title page DPSs are amongst the best pickups. They just do them like this anymore. Congrats!
