Description

Grail … graily grail grail! I never use that word but here I am! And here it is! The cover (and color guide acquired separately ) for the Thing 5 cover by Ron Wilson and Al Milgrom! Why you ask for a self proclaimed X-men fan was this piece of art so important?? Well when I was 8 years old I was given three comics on a road trip to keep me entertained… and this was one of them! Without this happening it is very possible that I’m not on CAF typing this or at all! Those comics sparked a life long infatuation with marvel comics and their characters!! So getting this piece is just about the Everest of comic art collecting for me! Way out of my comfort zone but well worth it! Thanks to a lot of my friends in the community for helping to make this happen or for listening to me stress over it while it was at auction lol..

Those yellow and orange sunsets are so wonderful in the mid summer nights! They form the perfect color compliment to raise the temperature of the Thing in this cover full of colorful guest stars!
