DescriptionNew Mutants 94 continues the two part Madripoor story line of Stryfe trying to poison a water supply like a Bond villain. The muties got thrashed in the previous issue, but they get their s**t together to take down the MLF. Cable and his secret clone, Stryfe, meet for the first time. It's a quick bout, with Stryfe seemingly perishing in a fire, and Tokyo's water supply is saved!Ariel did some stellar work on the 2008 Cable series, so I thought he was a great choice to do a little revisiting of the character. 11x17. The big fanned brushstrokes provide a cool backdrop to the battle!

When an artist does a commission at this level of painted finish, the publisher may as well use it for a cover or something. Sweet!

2 sides of the same coin, including them rad extreme '90s designs :) Olivetti definitely does 'em justice here. Congrats!

Beautiful! Some excellent detail and texture on display here. Always loved the Cable vs Stryfe showdown and Olivetti's previous experience with the character make for one wall worthy commission.

Wow, that's fantastic. It's a beautiful piece, I didn't realize you had him doing a commission. I had him sign a book at con, he did a BLOODSHOT book with my friend Kevin Vanhook. Congrats!

Don't know much about the characters. But yeah, could be a cover. The style reminds me of JC Leyendecker.

Power on power! Two mastadons do battle! While Olivetti paints in the details within the figures, the broad and bold strokes of paint deliver a huge impact as to their fight movements!
