DescriptionThis is the second Alex Ross cover I picked up from Mike Burkey at SDCC, and I am thankful for time payments! I love the composition of this cover: not only does it show Cap in his traditional costume in the background, but it features the new Scourge... and I love the effect of the bullet holes on the cover... Once again, Ross' art is just so clean and meticulous, I just can't believe I am lucky to own a third Alex Ross cover!!Who is the new Scourge? What does he want? Is he friend? Or foe? Well I won't spoil this one, but I enjoyed this run bu Coates! Social/Sharing |

Two Alex Ross Cap covers in such a short space of time! Many congrats, Alberto, on yet another wonderful addition to your classic collection of Captain America original artwork!

One of the top cover artists of our generation! That's including line art and painters by the sheer popularity amongst fans. Ross' covers consistently generate sales because of their stunning visuals that strike deep into the emotions of the subject.

I think this one has an even bigger impact than the previous one. Interesting that Ross used a very similar color scheme/palette on both of them. Congrats on making it a double Ross acquisition!

Gorgeous Alberto! You are going to have the BIGGEST Alex Ross Captain America collection! I think you have more Ross than Garney covers now!

D'oh! I meant John Romita Jr. covers! (I always have Garney on the brain when it comes to Cap!).
