Description

This just arrived courtesy of Scott’s Collectibles, an InHyuk Lee version of Silk inspired by his Asian American and Pacific Islander month covers. I don’t usually do the hip, urban updates to costume styles but every once in a while I really dig one because it fits with the mindset and vibe of youth and how many young heroes we have in comics. I asked Daniel Scott about one months ago and was surprised when it was done at a convention and Daniel contacted me to let me know I could settle up and he’d ship right away!! I really like it!

Those inks and ink washes really take to that watercolor paper! Very fine control of each shade to create volume within the folds of the costume design.

You nailed it, he clearly has found the right paper to match his brush ink style as it adds so many natural folds and natural appearance of fabric.
