Description

For me this is a bit of a bomb. When you think of Mike Mignola art probably the first thing that comes to mind is Hellboy for most people. Then there's the people who will mention Cosmic Odyssey, or digging a little deeper, Gotham By Gaslight or Rocket Racoon. So when I saw a page of Elementals penciled by him, I had to go to the boxes and pull the issue out to verify that this was indeed legit. Apparently he along with a bunch of other artists did a couple pages in this issue. So how about that, one of the only two pages in existence he drew for this title? Now it makes me wish I had gone big when the cover came up a few months back at Hakes, but I expected it to go higher given that it's a Beatles homage.

Apparently the back story with the auction this came up at is that Mignola's former college dorm roommate had some various pages by him and put them up for sale. Just goes to show that there's still so much art out there just sitting with non-collectors.

He chose a great page to draw with the team shot and the stereotypical hate spewing televangelist with an unhealthy obsession for the hot Morningstar!
