Description

Millenium was a so-so series but it was a great spotlight for what John Ostrander was doing over in Suicide Squad. The Squad played a significant B role in the series, including that amazing crossover with Batman and Firestorm. This is a terrific page that features Martin Manhunter, Mister Miracle, Slipknot, Karin Grace (revealed in this story to be a Manhunter agent), Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, Privateer (ex and future Manhunter), Rick Flagg, Bronze Tiger, and Manhunters emerging from the swamp. Privateer and Karin are original art paste ups to synch up their costumes with the main Suicide Squad - I'm guessing.

The series is attributed to Joe Staton on pencils and Ian Gibson on inks. But, this page has very little Staton on it as far as I can tell. Guessing he did rough breakdowns with Gibson doing most of the work here (which is not at all how other pages went).

Got his from eBay in 2024. This page is a great candidate for a cleaning and/or some mocked up word balloons.
