Description

Recently Luis and Romulo Royo had an exhibition called From Origins To Original where they had a lot of finished pieces as well as the sketches or prelims they started as for sale. While it was impressive, nothing really jumped out at me. But a few weeks into it, they added more pieces including this one.

The finished piece was done for the Fleer Ultra 2017 Spider-Man card set

The painted surface is 12.2" x 5.91" on a 11.81" x 16.54" piece of paper.

Beautiful trio of pieces that the master decided to go with the triptych connecting method. It makes the cards a lot more cooler when put together to see it like you do here!

Is it the prelim or finished piece? If it's a prelim, that's super nice for a prelim or finished piece.

It's the prelim that's just that nice. The finished version is super crisp and clean compared this this.
