I don�t buy a lot of modern art.. but when I have a chance at a cover with a couple characters I like� by an artist I admire and it�s a homage to a classic cover!!? That gets me going! My buddy Dan T turned me onto Jonas Scharf a year or so ago.. and I now follow his socials, because I�m a big fan of his style. In a world where a lot of modern artists lack a distinctive style.. and a lot are less and less traditional. Jonas has the skills to seperate .. I always think his style lends to the more macabre. So a Tomb of Dracula homage with a Vamped out Wolverine is perfect. Also his ink wash work is just amazing creating this moonlight scene after Gill Kane . Very happy to add this variant cover!

Yup, that flat out worked! You totally get that dark vibe channeling ToD but brought to today nicely by Scharf. Loving the grey tones on Wolvy, too, and the extra pointy mask - reminds me a bit of Drac's collar :) Congrats, J!

Great tribute to the original! The style is very Palmer in tone and Scharf raising the level of suspense and anxiety by putting both X-fan favorites into the hunter and prey roles. Only with Jean, Logan is actually who's at a disadvantage.

awesome homage!! when I first looked at the image I didn't realize it was an homage at first yet it screamed bronze horror comics and I guess that's not far off! very cool addition
