Description

A huge (23.5" x 19") gorgeous painting of Meriem in one of her precarious situations meeting the grandson of Khong! Lovely colors, details, and... well, curves throughout!

One of Budd's largest pieces.

Too bad the original printing was in black and white as it looks so good in color.

As a collector of colored art, I love the use of.....flesh tones....on this piece. Would look good in my office for Teams calls. Congrats, man!

Never mind the "GROOAAR!", how about a "grrrrowwllll"...? :) At this size it must be an onslaught of beautiful color work and visual textures in person. Some top-tier work by Budd here (has he ever accomplished anything as ambitious as this piece, before or since?); jungle plants, Meriem's hair, the bricks of the altar, Kong's teeth and the light on his forearm... Wow! Great work all around! Congrats, James!
