Description

Here is the full-color cover to issue 1 of this unpublished series from Image & Valiant. I don't know much about this. It appears to be ink and water colors? Possibly some marker too. There are also some odd vertical "scrapes" running down the piece in a couple of spots. I have seen this cover referenced on a few different sites and they all show the same streaks.

I emailed Grell and his response was "I did the black and white but I have no idea who colored it". So it is most likely original colors on a copy of the inks.

Look at that incredible hair on Joshua Brand! Super cool extended hand toward us too. The Shaman is like a showman with all that rizz! Turok looks ready to go to war! Great full color art with the unifying tribal design pattern frame!

maybe this was intended as the color guide and then it ultimately never went into publication? either way, cool looking piece.
