Description

In the mid-90s, Alex Ross turned up my interest in comics to another level with his run on Marvels and Kingdom Come and as we found out we could collect original art much later in early 2020, I never thought I'd be able to own one of his artworks.

Thanks to the existence of CAF (thanks again Bill!), I was able to connect with Sal and was able to give this amazing piece a new home.

What a piece it is too, oversized at 13.5" by 21", depicting the new avengers (including Iron Man, Vision, Thor (Jane), Nova with Falcon's wing tips and Spiderman's hand hitching a ride from behind) flying off into space to help Nova (Sam) search for his lost father.

The imagery appropriately resonated with how I felt, being able to secure our first Alex Ross painting, as if I was also flying off into the stars too.
