DescriptionPaul Grist and Bernie Mireault Grendel: The Devil in Our Midst #4 Story Page 12 and Production Color Original Art Group of 2 (Dark Horse, 1994). A stark Antarctic scene captures scientists urgently working to free Grendel Jonah from crucifixion. This lot includes the original art page by Paul Grist and the color production page painted by Bernie Mireault. The art is rendered in Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 11.25" x 17.25"; and the color production is ink and gouache on acetate with an image area of 8" x 11". Signed by Grist along the lower edge of the image area. Stat page number, art correction paste-up in Panel 5, and white touchup. Otherwise, In Excellent condition.Social/Sharing |

That one red nail from the top panel will be important at the bottom of the page. A real tiny detail left for us from Mireault.
