"Los 8 anillos de Elibarin" es inmediatamente posterior a la adaptación de "El Señor de los Anillos" de la que Bermejo no quedaría satisfecho (Warren Publishing le obligó a ceñirse a la estética de la película de animación de Ralph Bakshi del 78). Sin embargo, repetiría fantasía épica en "Los 8 anillos" incorporando espada y brujería y ciencia-ficción. Great chase sequence with the camera angles and cutaways. Rojo turns the camera in the last panel and it looks like they are falling into a pit instead of a doorway.
