Jeff Matsuda and Art Thibert

I enjoyed this era of X-Factor. The team were government agents overseen by Valerie Cooper. In this issue, they quit and go underground as the printed cover title shows. I would not have minded if the title and corner box were pasted on the artwork itself.

On this cover, we have (top to bottom) - Wild Child, Sabretooth, Mystique, Shard, Polaris and in the front an awesome looking Forge. It would be cool to see more Jeff Matsuda artwork. Jeff's art style is awesome.

Classic 90's name! He got the manga / and Kirby traditions in just the right amounts! Fluid inkwork as well which made Matsuda popular enough to go Hollywood.

There is just not enough Matsuda work out there - this run was great and this cover is a perfect example of his work from that era
