Picked this up from Arthur Adam�s at the 2024 Baltimore Comic-Con.

Art shared that the creature was designed for a Marvel series or event. He had been asked to design a Kirbyesque giant monster. The monster ultimately lasted on a few pages in the beginning of the series.

His favorite genre! Monsters are his inspiration for a lot of his artwork especially when creating them for himself, but certainly better when he's getting paid for them.

Oh man!! So awesome. The character is Fireclaw. It's a character he designed for the Monsters Unleashed series. The one on top was published in a small promo sketchbook for the series that had blank pages for sketches as well as printed pages. The image in the book has the rest of his right leg drawn (the area covered by part of the sketch on the bottom here).
