Description

Man, when I saw this piece pop up, I was immediately drawn to it and my inner voice demanded I have it! I can't attest to having read much of the series, but I'm a fan of the characters and how could you pass on such an awesome, and 90's, wraparound cover?! The fact that it's the cover for the #1 issue, is just icing on the cake for me!

There's a lot going on here with this piece (so many characters to keep track of), as is the case with most covers from the era, but the detail is incredible! Pasqual Ferry is one heck of an artist and, quite frankly, I could stare at this cover for a nice while!

Pure '90s goodness, man! This was one of those books you just HAD to get whe you saw it on the stands! Lotsa heroes lookin'...heroic :) And for hire! Congrats!

Wow, it sure took you long enough to post this one! A really fantastic looking cover and one of the most surprising bargains of that auction, in my estimation. Kudos on bagging it, man!

Great composition for a wraparound cover! The ful team fit into the front, while the story is in the full picture. A number one issue deserves an attention getting piece like this.

I remember the right side of this cover being used as the ad for mail-in subscriptions to Marvel when I was a kid! That alone is as nostalgic as most of the issues from its era. Awesome to see it surface, and in a great collection like yours!

Whoa!! Now that's a cool Heroes for Hire cover! Look at all the Heroes--Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Hercules, White Tiger and the Hulk! What a cool '90s concept, a team made up of loners, guys who would never join a team. And yet here they are--Heroes for Hire! Great concept, great cover! Beautifuly drawn by Pasqual Ferry and Jaime Mendoza! Great pick-up, congrats!

That was a nice book and Ferry's art was quite distinctive at the time. Great pick-up!
