Description

So even though this is an X-men related book , from when I was reading.. it�s not usually something I would target� but it has a story to it.

Bob Wiacek inked SO many books I love.. including my first comic . So I�m a fan .. and he doesn�t do a lot of shows anymore since his eyesight is failing. So when I saw he would be at a local con this year I made a point to go to meet him. To my surprise he had a stack of pages with him. Nothing from his earlier work but a big old 6 to 8 inch stack . So while I was chatting with him and his son I was leafing page by page as I was hoping to pick something up directly from him.. and he had a couple of these Gen X pages! They fit my profile , a book I read.. characters I liked etc. this one in particular caught my eye .. because it was a few of the kids enjoying themselves at lunch. Skin Husk Chamber and Jubilee in a cafeteria in school uniforms! It made me think what this book was when it came out� a new generation of future X-men learning and being kids!

This reminds me of one of those dreams (nightmares?) where I'm still in high school and then I wake up realizing those days are long gone, ha. Nice page from a fun series/read, great that you got to spend some time with Bob and get it directly from him. nice pickup!
