Description

George Roussos � OUT OF THE SHADOWS #5 "Curse of Rockwood" Story Page 2 Original Art (Standard Comics, 1952).
In this shadowy pre-Code horror page:
at Rockwood castle, old Sir Reginald quarrels with his cousin Abby and gets killed in the process. When his niece Cynthia arrives to accept the inheritance, Abby tries to kill her too. But Cynthia is protected by a cursed knight watching over the family for generations.

Created in ink e blue ink over graphite on illustration board with an image area of 12" x 18".

Questo pezzo fu pubblicato prima dell�istituzione della Comics Code Authority del 1954, quando i fumetti erano totalmente immuni da qualsiasi forma di censura. Periodo che storici e collezionisti definiscono col termine �Pre-Code Horror� (PCH).

Questa cupa pagina horror pre-Code fa parte del racconto "Curse of Rockwood" dove il vecchio Sir Reginald litiga con la cugina Abby e viene ucciso nel castello di Rockwood. Quando la nipote Cynthia arriva per ricevere l'eredit�, Abby cerca di uccidere anche lei. Ma Cynthia � protetta da un cavaliere maledetto che veglia sulla famiglia da molte generazioni.
