Beautifully drawn & exciting page with fantastic panels of the Red Skull and an inspiring speech by Cap at the end that truly defines his character. And oh those Sinnott inks! Great add!!

Looks so different than a Kirby version having Gil Kane's more agile dynamic anatomy and the smooth delineation of Sinnott! Packed with just as much power! I don't think Gil minded all the notes on the borders as Stan did more than usual here.

I thought Joe over Gil was very interesting. But Joe said he did not prefer Gil's style. So Gil went back to his markers and inked himself for awhile. Gil went on to be the top cover artist for Roy in the 70s.
