DescriptionJim Calafiore and Peter PalmiottiSea creatures! Fantastic double-page splash of Aquaman fighting Triton (God of Tides), the son of Poseidon. The detail on this is incredible. Jim's art style fits so well with drawing underwater life. I like his pages and covers that have an abundance of sea life in them like this. This story takes place in Peter David's Aquaman volume back in the 90s. I like the telepathic dialog we get to see from some of the creatures. I get a kick out of the different qualities for each - shark memory, crab accent, this stingray seems like a Loud Howard for some reason. I get a kick out of the fish eye in the lower left corner.
