Jim Calafiore and Mark McKenna

Sharks! Maybe I should have waited until Shark Week to post this one. But, this cover of Aquaman smack dab in the middle of a feeding frenzy is something. Additional images shows the cover overlay of blood in the water with a title. The overlay does not have the corner box or series title. I wonder why.

This story had a few of Aquaman's sea creature friends - Cron One-Eye (old shark) and Grifid (whale shark) under control of radioactive evolved shark by the name of Karshon aka 'The Shark' (villain name is on point).

Classic era of the harpoon hand Aquaman! Calafiore and McKenna made for a great art team during the late 90's as it was one of the most popular Aquaman series ever.
