DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!7x10.5" hardcover w/dust jacket ©2002 John Romita. Published by Vanguard. 112 bw extensively illustrated pages and introduction by Stan Lee. Inside front cover has original pencil drawing w/classic Mary Jane Watson face image. Book is signed and numbered edition #191/1000 plus sketched and signed a second time by Romita and dated 2002. Also signed on title page by J. David Spurlock in pen. Lt. handling wear and some small dots of age spotting on page edges. Exc. John Romita Sr. (1930-2023) began work on Spider-man w/issue #39 Aug. 1966. Over the years he would draw 50+ covers and stories for 46 issues. Art was commissioned in person from the artist.
