Description

Was the phrase "I can't draw Spider-Man for shit" uttered? I believe it may have been. British writer Paul Jenkins was another great guest at this year's Heroes Comic Con in Brussels.

"I'm going to give him eyes.". He leaned into my request of having Spidey writers attempting to draw him. Paul was such a cool dude, being super friendly - perhaps helped by the "Duvel" I saw him drink at 11 am in the morning. Hey, if a fan gifts you something, you have to indulge, right?

Paul took his time. We had a lengthy conversation about his work, especially his Spidey run with Mark Buckingham. I love that he was very approachable for a conversation.

Afterwards, he added some nice inscriptions for me in my books - some he did in Dutch. I have no clue how or why that man knows a basic amount of Dutch, but it's really nice that he does.
