DescriptionHappy Halloween!! I don’t delve to much into Horror .. but I’d say this one at least borders the line lol. Not my usual but really caught grabbed me in a recent auction. I have been a big fan of Larry Stroman since the 90s , I know he doesn’t have a great rep amongst collectors for good reason, but you cannot deny his talent . Obviously he got my attention on his Xfactor run but he got his big break on a quirkie 80s Epic series Alien Legion .. so when I saw this painted cover by him and Frank Cirocco it really caught my eye. I know Larry a little bit and he is a unique individual.. and for me his best stuff is when you kind of let him loose and let him get a bit crazy.. and this definitely fits the bill! I like to think of this as a picture in the mind of Stroman! lolSocial/Sharing |

I like the Stroman part of this! Even though it's alien, he makes it feel very street level with the gutter front and center and the bustlling around with no one caring about the protagonists.

very interesting cover piece and combination of traditional linework and painted color work. I've seen single issues from this title for years in longboxes at shows and ocasionally at comic shops but I've yet to ever check one out, didnt know Terry Austin inked the first few issues (over Cirocco) until looking at the credits on MCS. Anyway, cool stuff to see - congrats on the win/piece!

Fun character designs, and it really is done so well in terms of the composition and depth it highlights a result. And the colors...uniquely good stuff. Very nice, indeed, J, congrats!
