Description

A number of artists were high on my list but, when I heard that Mark Brooks would be selling some of his Disneyfied X-men art, I knew I had to be early. I started queuing at 7am, got to his table at 10:05 (which at NYCC '24, isn't bad) to find out that he would be arriving at midday.

I killed some time meeting some of my other favourite artists and started queuing again at 11:15am. I am glad I did as a queue started to form behind me. I set myself a budget and I knew which were my top two. Magik and Kitty Pryde/Lockheed. I couldn't believe that neither had already been claimed and that they were in the pile (of about 40). This was right at the top of the budget but worth every penny. They look great and there may be a chance they end up published at some point. I'm just over the moon to own these two.

Kitty and Lockheed are just pitch perfect for a Disney interpretation. Congrats on getting two of the D'fied pinups, and your top two choices to boot!
