I'll be honest and say I didn't know this two issue story existed until I saw this piece in a recent ComicLink auction. I was watching a few other pieces and this one caught my eye and the more I looked at it the more I enjoyed the page.

I thought this was a super fun page from 1990 from Zeck and Renondo with DOOM throughout the page, those Doombots, and that Spidey tee!

The page was credited with Zeck breakdowns and Redondo finishes and inks, which I thought was a unique combo of two masterful artists. I love that you can feel both artists' styles in the page.

If anyone knows of more pages from this two issue let me know, thanks!

Really great how you see the inner thoughts of Doctor Doom as the more powerful he gets, the more paranoid he gets.

I remember this book! Didn't quite last but there was some fun art. Congrats on an uber Doom-centric page!

I always thought this was one of the most bizarre inking choices over Zeck ever made! Mind you, it wasmost likely decided because of a deadline and Redondo was in the office and available. Either way, really cool and interesting and a great Doom page overall.

Zeck and Redondo plus plenty of Doom is a winning combo. Had no clue this existed. Congrats George!
