DescriptionFirst off, I'm well aware there have been previous guardians of this beautiful piece long before me and that they too posted images back when they had it. Yet, now that I'm the protector of this cover, that I've long desired, you best believe I'm going to post about it!Anyway, now that that's out of the way...I know I've mentioned on other Cable-related posts that when I got into the art collecting hobby, there were four specific Cable covers I wanted. This is one of them; I now have 3/4 in fact! I love the cover for Cable #34, for a multitude of reasons, like Ian Churchill's incredible art, the fact that this was an Onslaught-related crossover (a crossover I adore), and the issue itself is just pure fire! Cable vs. Hulk, not a match-up one sees often, but definitely one for the history books! And so, I guess this is a mild grail for me, even though I hate using the word, and am more than pleased to have it in my collection! Social/Sharing |

Such a stunning cover! I was sorely tempted, but I had to drop out of the bidding early. So happy you got it, as it is one of your four faves!

Churchill crushed this cover the way Hulk is crushing that logo.

It's the size and power contrast aspect that makes this so good! Hulk interacting with the logo is extra effort that you don't often find in normal artists and normal covers.

Not surprised this found it's way to your collection :) One of Churchill's best from the run. Always loved how Hulk is breaking the title lettering...I miss some of that in modern art. Congrats!
