Now that's a stunnning page one splash--Firestorm killed by a mystic sword thruse through the heart by....Say, who was that sword-wielding killer and where did they go? I always love these kinds of cliff-hanging endings...especially when they happen at the beginning. Fabulous art by the amazing Eddy Barrows, with fantastic inks by the incredible Rob Stull. Love the composition of this page with the action scene front and center and anxious witnesses like Shazam down below. The inks are particularly strong here, with the lighting all provided by the flaming sword and Firestorms' own flaming head. Very dramatic pick-up, congrats!
