Descriptionnice flashback showing yon-burr , and a very nice supreme intelligence panel, this early buscema art on avengers is wonderful, the stanton inks looks awesome on joes work, i loved this era of avengers, i would find these at a old book store named, The book exchange, he would stamp the covers with 10 and 15 cents, not more were higher, this was between 1980-1986 i went here, but 1980-1982 10 cents got you a beat up copy, he also took in book trade for credit, if great books, he gave comic credits, you got a card, he would write out the amounts on, card would fit 10 transactions, it was a glorious time going there, my grandma gave me all her new books she read, i went to this store every day, looking though thousands of piles of comics, for avengers, xmen, fantastic four, spiderman, could cry thinking how great it was, cause my home life wasnt great, comics gave me escape, and early avengers made it go away for a short timeSocial/Sharing |

The 70's return of John Buscema on the Avengers are very underrated and issues and always sought after. Covers and pages are the same. Not enough reprints of those issues exist. Great cosmic level threats on this page!

Sad to read of your personal story, Thomas, but it's also bittersweet. Great to know you found a page that means so much to you!
