DescriptionI’m so pumped to add this amazing piece by Patrick Jones to the collection. Titled “The Captive”, this is one of Patrick’s most well known works. He created this in 2012 as an experiment to see if he could create an example of fine art under the time constraints of an illustrator. I’d say he passed! The work appeared as the cover image for his first book “Sci-fi and Fantasy Painting Techniques”, published by Korero Press in 2014. (I t also appeared in Patrick’s second book with Korero Press, “The Sci-fi & Fantasy Art of Patrick Jones”.) It also appeared in Volume 2 of Infected by Art. Finally, in 2020, it was one of a small selection of Patrick’s works to be chosen by Terrible Kids Stuff to be crafted into a three dimensional collectible limited edition sculpture.Oil on board 19” x 28” Social/Sharing |

I am enthralled with Patrick's work and have been looking for a painting for years. Extremely difficult to procure. Congratulations on an absolute masterpiece!

Thanks Steve! Like you, I adore Patrick's work. You should consider commissioning something; I've commissioned two pieces from Patrick. He never disappoints!
