DescriptionIn 2024 Top Cow finally came through for me re-launching one of my favorite titles “Witchblade”. After I learned Cafaro was the new lead artist I decided to reach out to him regarding any original pages that might be for sale. I was too late for any pages BUT he was willing to do a commission before he started drawing the next Witchblade issue.As much as I love Witchblade, the Cow co-series “The Darkness” is really my favorite. Turner had done an iconic cover of Jackie sitting on a thrown surrounded by women. With that in mind I asked Cafaro if he could do his own spin on a similar piece in his own style. It came out even better than I hoped! I got women suspending from Darkness tentacles, Jackie at the forefront seated and holding the spear of destiny. So thankful he was able to squeeze me into his busy schedule. Social/Sharing |

Fantasy meets European illustration when Cafaro does Witchbade! His darker tone for The Darkness is gives the piece an edgy mood of danger.
