Description

I already had three pages from this series, but this is the final page of "Stormwatch: Team Achilles." So I wanted to buy it. Here's the story: The
U.S. government wanted a superpowered soldier to do its bidding, so it created one. However, the tests and experiments that made the guy impossibly powerful also snapped his sanity. So the government, realizing its mistake and not knowing any other way out, shipped this all-powerful psychopath to an Earth in another dimension, where he killed every person on the planet. Stormwatch was then sent to that Earth to kill this bad guy.
Well, it just so happened that the government decided to start shipping other bad guys to this alternate Earth. Why not? Everybody's dead, right? One of the bad guys they shipped off was this guy with the skull. He has the power to reanimate the dead. The government obviously wasn't thinking too far ahead on this plan. Anyway, when Stormwatch arrived, here was this guy with his undead army. ... And this was the cliffhanger that was left when the series ended. Very frustrating end to a very well-written series.

I liked the series too! Unfortunately they cancelled it when series writer Micah Ian Wright was exposed as never having served in the armed forces, contrary to his own claims.

It was horrible how WS handled that whole thing. I love this series and characters and I hated that they never finished Team Achilles. I was really stoked to hear that they were finishing the story with the last revamp, but that was short lived as THAT was a big let down, too. Anyways, congrats and thanx for posting up. You have a great collection of WS art!!
