DescriptionThis is my second page from the adaption of this classic book/movie - I had shots at a few since getting my first one (also in this gallery) but this one earned its place because of, you guessed it, architecture! This page features Sebatian (and the reader) meeting Pris for the first time - but the closer for me is the bottom landscape panel with the Los Angeles Bradbury Hotel interiors - the same building featured in Rogers' Demon with a Glass Hand adaption (see additional images for detail of architecture and actual hotel interior) Credits for first half of book is Williamson with Garzon assists These pages are oversized at 12" x 18" (thanks to Hart for stitching my scans) Here is a link to the scene depicted in this page (as of 2024) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q84sYYcY6_o Now I 'need' a Williamson Star Wars page... Beautiful page (as they all are from the adaptation). I am truly envious. And a page with the Bradbury (not Bradley). is fantastic. It's such a toried building that I've had the oppotunity to visit many times. At one point, some years back, the top floor was LAPD IA. Nobody looked happy to be there at the time.

Garzon's inks transform Williamson's classic style to match the film's neo-noir aesthetic.Cheers!

These pieces are very worthy pursuits as they hold a special place for fans of the movie, comics, and sci-fi in general during a time when imagination was closer to reality than ever before. It's a bonus that Williamson did some of the greatest work of his career here.

Incredible page! For me, Blade Runner was the last great Al Williamson work (before he concentrated on inking)! And, what a masterpiece it is! Great pick!
